Krystal and Babe agonized over whether to tell the truth about Di. Tad and Zach showed up just in time to rescue Julia and Di. Julia, overcome by painful memories, shot Garret. Tad and Zach confronted Garret with their suspicions. I liked his scenes with Nancy but it felt like a speed run of a story I’d have liked to seen of Mike and Nancy getting over past animosity and becoming romantically involved.Ĭould this be the end of #Elate? 💔 Tune in to see what happens on all-new episodes of #YR this week on Watch the latest on /OWkvrcarb1- Young and Restless October 9, 2022

It was nice to see Mike back and referencing an long-forgotten story from the 70s with his questioning his sexuality. Knowing DOOL films 6+ months in advance, I have to wonder how far in advance they knew about this move with some of the script choices this week – Sonny calling Alex a dumbass and EJ talking about Gabi’s thicc ass with Stefan feel like things they wouldn’t have done on NBC. Nice to see the move to Peacock has seemingly been successful so far with DOOL apparently averaging 1.5 million views a day and Peacock reporting 2 million new subscribers in the 3rd Quarter (obviously not ALL of those are DOOL fans but it definitely was a contributing factor). I wouldn’t say I’m excited to officially have Esme back as I didn’t really miss her but her officially being back and seeming being “the hooker” should hopefully bring at least SOME drama. But no, now I see GH has merely dropped one character and is already adding another. With the GH cast being as bloated as it is, this is the perfect opportunity to lose some of the dead weight. Not that I wanted Diane to die but with this “serial killer”/hooker/Esme? having just one successful kill (that seemingly wasn’t even their intended target) has really neutered this storyline from having an effective punch.
